MATH 115 - Applied Mathematics for Business Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3
Prerequisite: MATH 105 or MATH 110 or appropriate placement test score or permission of the Mathematics Department chairperson Description: A review of elementary functions, including logarithmic and exponential functions. Business majors are introduced to the central ideas of calculus (limit, derivative, and integral). Applications to business and economics are emphasized. Note: May not be taken after successfully completing a calculus course without written Mathematics Department chairperson approval.
