Description: Studies the structure of human societies and the behavior of individual people, groups, and teams in society. Exam ines the relationship between individual and societal institutions, processes, and interactions with emphasis on the ways power/status are reflected. Explores the relationship between individual identity and team dynamics as it pertains to race, gender, class, sexuality, ability, and age while relating to the methods and research findings of sociologists. Applies decision making and problem solving as members of small teams work to achieve a shared objective within a larger organizational context.
