SAFE 212 - Hazard Prevention Management I Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3
Prerequisite: SAFE 101 ; safety, health, and environmental applied sciences majors/minors only or instructor permission Description: Teaches the fundamental concepts involved in the management of safety programs. Basic safety management terminology, safety professional code of ethics, fleet safety, and product safety are discussed. Also discusses risk management and workers’ compensation, as well as workplace violence.
