Description: Introduces the fundamental concepts, key functionality, and business analytics tools hospitality managers use in hotel/lodging, restaurant, tourism and event management segments. Includes using digital information to enhance business-making capabilities. Explores first-party data. Explains types of hospitality data to collect for calculation and interpretation to drive tactical and strategic management decisions. Analyzes and interprets data to prevent operational inefficiencies, minimize risk, and drive revenue.  Demonstrates the application of the Opera Cloud Property Management System and role play senarios in the Statler Hotel Front Desk Simulation Lab.
