MATH 117A - Probability and Statistics with Integrated Support

Prerequisite: [Appropriate mathematics placement] OR [permission of the Mathematical and Computer Sciences Department chairperson].
Corequisite: None.
Description: Explores data and answers research questions using basic statistical methodologies.  Summarizes, analyzes, and interprets data from the social sciences and other related areas.  Integrates the development and application of effective strategies for learning and applying statistics, with a focus on real-world problem solving using appropriate technology.
