CURR 915 - Writing for Professional Publication

Prerequisite: Admission to the Curriculum and Instruction doctoral program and permission of program coordinator.
Designed to enhance the scholarly and publishable writing skills of doctoral students in education. Students produce and submit a proposal for a presentation at a professional conference. Students also develop a full manuscript to be submitted to a scholarly journal and a book prospectus. Skills in responding to editorial feedback, peer review, and public presentation of scholarly work are developed.
