ECED 765 - Issues and Trends in Early Childhood Education Credits: 3 Designed to provide early childhood educators with a child advocacy perspective on contemporary social forces, professional issues, and public policy trends affecting young children. Students develop skills in identifying key issues using problem-solving strategies, communicating ideas, and functioning as change agents within educational institutions. Interpersonal skills and collaborative relationships with colleagues, administrators, politicians, parents, and community agencies are emphasized.
