CRIM 394 - Crime and Delinquency Prevention Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3
Prerequisite: CRIM 101 or CRIM 102 or departmental permission Examines various crime and delinquency prevention policies and programs. Topics include the historical development of crime and delinquency prevention methods, theoretical applications to prevention efforts, and research findings on program effectiveness. The importance of research design in evaluating prevention programs also is considered.
