SOC 460 - Social Research Methods I Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3
Prerequisite: SOC 320 , junior standing First in a two-course methods sequence. Examines diverse research designs used in the social sciences, i.e., survey, field study, experiment, documentary, and existing statistical data. Focuses both on logic and practice of social research. Student develops a research design to be implemented in the second course in the research sequence.
