Provides students with a solid foundation in audio recording theory, techniques and practice. Students are introduced to the theoretical concepts and develop the technical skills that form the basis of modern recording. Topics covered include three- dimensional mixing and placement, fundamentals of sound, recording techniques and effects processing. Students will work with professional grade recording equipment and digital audio software to produce voiceovers, music pieces and audio storytelling.
