CHEM 114 - Advanced General Chemistry II Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 3 Credits: 4
Prerequisite: Grade of “C” or better in CHEM 113 Description: A continuation of Advanced General Chemistry I. Topics include solutions, chemical kinetics, equilibrium and thermodynamics, acids and bases, buffers, and electrochemistry. Topics are covered in greater depth and with more challenging problem solving than General Chemistry. For majors within the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and to fulfill the Liberal Studies Natural Science Laboratory Sequence requirement for those students.
