ENGL 418 - Young Adult Literature

Prerequisite: ENGL 101  or ENGL 103 ; and ENGL 122 , and ENGL 323 , or permission, English education major
Description: Introduces literature for and about young adults. Emphasizes critical study of the literature and its classification as well as resources and rationales for using young adult literature in the middle and secondary classroom. Explores selection of literature and various methods of literature instruction.
