MATH 216 - Probability and Statistics for Natural Sciences Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3
Prerequisite: MATH 121 or MATH 125 Description: Frequency distributions, graphical representations of data, measures of central tendency and variation, correlation and regression, probability, probability distributions, and sampling distributions. Inferential statistics including confidence intervals and parametric and nonparametric tests of hypotheses. Emphasis is on applications in the natural sciences using graphing calculators and statistical software.
