The Music, BA program provides focused instruction in music within the context of a traditional liberal arts education. The degree is flexible enough to accommodate students with broad or nascent academic interests, and often leads to graduate study. It is ideal for students who wish to pursue a double major or enter the dual-baccalaureate program.

The optional Music Industry Specialization combines a core music curriculum with courses in business, management, marketing, and music technology.
