Digital Marketing Certificate

Provides the student with the specific knowledge and skills necessary to function as a marketing professional with primary duties in digital aspects of business and marketing. Students learn about digital marketing communications, social media campaign planning, content marketing, and more. Students will gain exposure to using tools offered by Google, Facebook, Adobe and other leading digital marketing platforms.

Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs)
- Understand the basic principles of marketing, advertising, social media and internet marketing as they apply to the digital functions of business and marketing. This outcome will be assessed using quizzes and exams in MKTG 320, 433, 439 and 445.
- Integrate the types of social media, web and other digital advertising into a digital marketing communication campaign. This outcome will be assessed using Projects and/or assignments in MKTG 433, 439 440, 445 and/or 448.
- Utilize web, email and social media analytical tools for campaign measurement and optimization. This outcome will be assessed using Assignments, Online proficiency exams in MKTG 433, 439, 440, 445 and/or 448.
