Public Health and Community Nutrition Certificate


The Public Health and Community Nutrition Certificate provides students with foundational knowledge and skills  to promote health, prevent nutrition-related diseases and conditions, and advocate for needed food and nutrition programs and services to help groups, communities, and populations. The certificate consists of 18 credits including at least 6 credits from 300-level or higher courses. The certificate develops knowledge and skills for individuals in public health and community nutrition who are not interested in a degree program.
 
Students must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program to gain entry to this certificate program.

Total Required Credits: 18


(1) Students must attain a grade of “C” or better in each of the courses.
