Digital design and fabrication are 21st-century skills transferable to a wide range of career paths. Students earning the Digital Design and Fabrication Certificate gain technical competence in computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided machining (CAM) while exploring opportunities to integrate these skills into their primary field of study. The certificate advances proficiency in problem solving, collaboration, design thinking and the prototyping process. Emphasis is placed on students creating original innovative contributions to projects with the potential for societal impact.
