The Bachelor of Fine Arts - Graphic Design and Illustration Track prepares students for careers in graphic design and illustration, covering a broad range of topics within these areas including web design, publication design, interactive design, animation, three-dimensional modeling, corporate identity, and narrative and sequential art. Faculty mentors assist Graphic Design and Illustration students with the development of a professional portfolio. 

Students pursuing the Bachelor of Fine Arts - Graphic Design and Illustration Track receive substantial instruction in their area of study. All BFA - Graphic Design and Illustration Track students must participate in Annual Reviews with the faculty at the conclusion of their freshman, sophomore, and junior years of study and complete a design portfolio prior to graduation.

(1) ART 281 may be used only once.

(2) Inclusion of internship credits toward any portion of fulfillment of degree requirements must be approved by the departmental chair and student’s major advisor. Approval must be obtained in writing before enrollment.

(3) Student must achieve a cumulative 2.5 GPA and earn a “C” or better in all ART and ARHI courses to graduate.
