The Music Industry Track prepares students for careers in the music industry. The program combines a core music curriculum with courses in business, management, and marketing. It culminates in an internship experience and hands-on project. The track is flexible and ideal for students interested in artist management, music production, music publishing, and event promotion.

Liberal Studies: 40-42
As outlined in the Liberal Studies Requirements with the following specifications:
Humanities Literature:
Fulfilled by MUHI 102 .
Natural Science:
Option II recommended.
PHYS 105 - The Phsycis of Light and Sound (3cr) recommended.
Liberal Studies Electives:
3 credits required. No courses with MUSC prefix.
Controlled Electives: 12
Select four courses from among the following:

Total Cedit Requirements: 120
(1) Students in the Music Industry Track are encouraged to consider a minor in Business Administration, Communications Media, or Marketing. They may also be interested in the certificate programs in Audio Production, Digital Marketing, and Popular Music Studies.
