Special Event/Tourism Management Minor

The Special Event/Tourism Management Minor introduces students to planning, organizing, and controlling the many components of event functions. Social, cultural, fundraising, wedding planning, tourism and group travel will be taught to students of interest. International and domestic tourism, festivals, and destination management are components of this minor.

Controlled Electives: 9
- HOSP courses approved by department chair totaling at least 9cr with at least 3cr being 300 level or higher.
Total Minor Requirements: 18
