Cell and Molecular Biology Certificate

The Department of Biology offers a 16-credit, sub-baccalaureate certificate in Cell and Molecular Biology for both majors and non-majors seeking specialized training in this field. The program consists of a five-course core sequence designed to prepare students for careers in the modern biotechnology workforce. Please note students majoring Biology/Cell and Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, BS are not eligible to enroll in this certificate.   No more than six credits (or two courses) may be applied to satisfy both the requirements of a certificate and a major program (excluding crimson core or liberal studies requirements). A minimum C (2.00) cumulative grade point average across all courses will satisfy the certificate CGPA requirement.
