Elementary and Middle-Level Mathematics Minor

The minor consists of 18 credits in Elementary and Middle-Level Mathematics Education. The minor offers additional preparation to teach mathematics at the elementary and middle school levels. Please note that this minor does not lead to certification and is not open to students who are majoring in Mathematics Education, BSED with Middle-Level Mathematics Specialization. However, by passing the Praxis Exam, students can obtain certification to teach mathematics at the middle level.
