The program in Pre-Chiropractic offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree for students who want to pursue a career in chiropractic. The program gives students training in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and to prepare them for application to Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) programs in the United States. As a chiropractor, you will help your patients improve their health, performance, and quality of life naturally and non-invasively.
IUP has articulation agreements for accelerated three-year entry to a Doctor of Chiropractic program at Life University, Logan University, Northeast College of Health Sciences, Palmer College of Chiropractic, Parker University, and Sherman College of Chiropractic. A maximum of 30cr of work may be transferred after the first year at one of the chiropractic school programs. Upon completion of the first year of studies at one of the chiropractic programs, a transcript from that school is to be sent by the student to the dean of the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics with a note requesting application materials for graduation.
