Natural Science/Pre-physical Therapy, BS

IUP’s Pre-physical Therapy BS program is designed to help students gain admission to a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. We have a long track record of student success. Students will gain a solid foundation in chemistry, biology, physics, math, and other subjects that physical therapy schools across the U.S.A. require for admission. 

IUP has an agreement for accelerated three-year admission to Gannon University School of Physical Therapy program. A maximum of 30cr of work may be transferred after the first year at Gannon University School of Physical Therapy. Upon completion of the first year of studies at one of the physical therapy schools, a transcript from that school is to be sent by the student to the dean of the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics with a note requesting application materials for graduation. 

IUP also has an articulation agreement with Seton Hill University for two guaranteed admissions slots per year for qualified students who earn their bachelor’s degree in the Pre-PT program.
