Family and Consumer Sciences Education PK-12, BSED

The K-12 Family and Consumer Sciences Education program prepares students for the teaching of family and consumer sciences-related subjects in the public schools. Course work is required in all areas of family and consumer sciences, including child development and family relations, consumer economics, clothing, foods, and interior design. Professional education courses also are required.
